The mission of John P. Parr Lodge No.8 is to promote Masonry in St. Louis, MO in a way that attracts new members, inspires existing members to be active and continue their Masonic education, brings value to the community, instills pride in the Lodge, and creates interaction with the entire Masonic Family.
John P. Parr Lodge No. 8 is more than a Lodge. It is a place where men of all races and beliefs gather to share in fellowship, self-improvement, and service to the community. Fellowship between brothers is of the utmost importance for the development of a strong and lasting bond.
Men who are Prince Hall Masons take great pride in their membership for many reasons, prominent among which are the feeling that they are a part of a great force dedicated to worthy purposes. Prince Hall Masonry is a system of living; it seeks nothing for itself but to make its members wiser, better, and consequently happier. Prince Hall Masonry makes good men better men.
